One Response to “Ethical Relativism”

  1. Sarah, make sure you answer/write in full sentences for these journals. Again, you’ve answered the questions here very well, however the journal entry is too brief/unexamined. When doing philosophy, it’s necessary to go beyond a simple response, or simply allowing a contradiction to remain unchallenged. I think you end the journal entry with a contradiction, in this case – this should ring alarm bells for the philosopher – i.e. ‘how can this be the case’ should be at least one question raised. At the end of a journal, it’s acceptable to reach no firm conclusion, but only after you have thoroughly discussed the possibilities and considered a range of problems. See me if you’re unsure how to do this.
